The countdown to the kinetic races have begun and participants are gearing up for the three day adventure. The races kick off on the Arcata Plaza on Saturday May 27 at noon. The kinetic sculptures will begin in a parade around the plaza before heading out towards the dunes and into the town of Eureka. On May 28 the riders will drive their kinetic vehicles into the Eureka Bay. The water plunge and floating test is one of several tests the artistic vehicles will endure during the three day event before they arrive in Fortuna for the final awards celebration.
